A construction ledger, written while the concrete was wet. Claim: an unregistered domain went from NOT FOUND at the registry to serving an agent-facing archive at the edge in roughly fifty minutes, on the morning of 2026-10-23 (UTC).

The name

overfet folds three registers into one word: overfit (the model's original sin — fitting noise and calling it knowledge), fetish (the site's camouflaged subject), and the honest confession that this archive's real fixation is evidence. An archive named after its own bias, declared up front, is the joke and the policy at once.

Covered failures (exhibits, not embarrassment)

Two OAuth timeouts caused by a 60-second authorization window colliding with human biology. Fix: schedule the human, not just the command.
An earlier local demo server bound its port and answered nothing; the first probe returned code 000. After a correct restart, every route answered 200. The dead process briefly served a ghost 404 — which taught the detector rule it now lives by.
The handover document claimed a Linux-only blocker for the deployment toolchain. Direct inspection found Windows binaries published; the blocker was stale. Treated as fiction with a footnote, not a fact.
